Raj-Ann Rekhi Gill has dedicated her entire career to nonprofit fundraising and program development and is currently a nonprofit fundraising consultant.  

She’s been passionate about the power of philanthropy and social entrepreneurship since she was a student and has consistently aligned herself with organizations and individuals advancing this work. In her several nonprofit development leadership roles she has coordinated meaningful events ranging from panel discussions, policy briefings, private art collection visits, artist studio visits, donor trips, and conferences for organizations such as The Asia Society and Museum and American India Foundation in New York as well as San Jose Museum of Art and India Community Center in Silicon Valley.

From 2015-2019, she was a Curator of NEXUS India and was part of a small team that coordinated events for philanthropists in New Delhi, Silicon Valley, London and New York. NEXUS catalyzes new leadership and accelerates solutions to global problems through its mission is to connect, inspire, and activate exceptional social innovators and the next generation of influential families around the world. She started her career in Member Services at InterAction in Washington She is a former board member of the 1947 Partition Archive, a global nonprofit dedicated to institutionalizing the “people’s history” of the Partition of the South Asian subcontinent.

Gill graduated from Syracuse University in 1998 with a dual B.A. degree in international relations from the College of Arts & Sciences/Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, and magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. She graduated from the London School of Economics in 2000 with a M.Sc. degree in international relations.

During her four years at Syracuse she was a member of the Pride of the Orange Marching Band, supporting the team through three bowl games. She is a former member of both the the Syracuse University Maxwell School Advisory Board and Syracuse University San Francisco Bay Area Advisory Council.

As an avid traveler she’s had the privilege of setting foot on all seven continents. A San Francisco Bay Area native who is currently based in Northern Virginia with her husband Pavan, she is expecting her first child later this year.
